Edel Heguy passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at his home in Garwood. He was 90.
Born in Camaguey, Cuba, he emigrated to the United States in 1972. An accountant by trade, he worked diligently for his family at Federal Pacific Electric in the United States for over 15 years.
Surviving are his loving wife, Melva; his son, Omar and his wife Tara; son-in-law Kevin Buckman and his grandchildren: David Heguy, Danny Heguy, KC Buckman, Tommy Buckman, and Chris Buckman. Edel was predeceased by his dear daughter Marlene Buckman.
A visitation will be held at Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, Kearny on Friday July 12 from 9:00AM - 10:30AM.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Cecilia’s RC Church, Kearny at 11AM. Interment will immediately follow.
