Ruth Almeida passed away on July 30, 2024. She was 86. Born in Newark, she has lived in Clark for the past 45 years. Visiting will be on Monday August 5, 2024 from 9:00 - 10:30 am in the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive in Kearny. Mass will be the same day at 11:00 a.m. in Queen of Peace Church and entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Ruth held her Doctorate Degree and was a teacher employed by the Scotch Plains Board of Education. She was an avid tennis player and enjoyed her membership at the Arlington Players Club in Kearny.
She is survived by her loving cousins; Dr. Victor Almeida, Bernadette Trovato, Diane Almeida, and Daniel Trovato. She is also survived by Victor’s children; Victor, Alec, Olivia and Sophie.
