Romayne June Dulany (nee Harris) passed away on March 6, 2024. She was 94. Funeral arrangements have been organized by Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home in Kearny, N.J. Her visiting will be on Saturday March 16, 2024 from 9 until 10:00 a.m. at The Primitive Methodist Church, 763 Jefferson Avenue in Jermyn, PA. 18433, and her funeral service will also be in church starting at 10:00 a.m. Her nephew Rev. Robert Smith will officiate the service and burial will follow at Canaan Corners Cemetery in Waymart, PA. Those services will be under the supervision of Patrick Harrison from the Harrison Rasmussen Funeral Home located at 3412 Route 97 in Barryville, N.Y.
Romayne was born in Jermyn and lived many years in Belleville, N.J. and then she and her husband built a home in Waretown, N.J. where they lived for 35 years before she moved to Milton, Delaware to live with her niece Darlene Smith. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Dulany and is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and their families.
