Gloria T. Knapp, 89 of Lodi passed away on June 8, 2024.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Gloria at Church of the Assumption of Our Blessed Lady in Wood-Ridge Thursday at 10:30am. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home.
Born in New York City, Gloria was the eldest girl of 12 children. Born to the late John and Alice Martin. She was a resident of Moonachie for many years until moving to Lodi in 2003. Gloria enjoyed taking long walks, especially with her dog. She was a great cook, and prepared meals every day for her family. Above all, she cherished time spent with all of them, and had fond memories of hosting holidays and events at her home in Moonachie.
Gloria was the beloved wife of the late John P. Knapp; loving mother of Michael Knapp, Debbie Paparelli (John) and the late John Knapp (Nancy), Barbara Monahan, Catherine Kaman (Michael) and Richard Knapp. She was the beloved grandmother of Michael Kaman, Robert Kaman, Melissa Kaman, Kristal Adinolfi, Richie Knapp, Sarah Knapp, Andrew Paparelli, Cody Paparelli, Alexa Paparelli and John Martin Knapp and five great-grandchildren, and by her sisters Rosemary, Patti and Lucy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
