It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Theresa Flynn, who peacefully left us on April 3, 2024, to join her beloved husband, Richard Flynn, in eternal rest. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.
Theresa (Terry) Flynn was born on November 4, 1936 in Jersey City, NJ. She grew up in Kearny and then lived in North Arlington for 30 years. She recently moved to Tinton Falls. Her dedication to her family defined Terry's life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose kindness and generosity knew no bounds. She found immense joy in spending time with her family and friends, traveling with her husband, playing Bingo, reading books, watching sports and keeping up with the news. She especially loved to tell her grandchildren stories about their moms and dads growing up.
Theresa’s adoration for her husband, Richard, was a testament to the power of true love. Theresa and Richard were married on November 6, 1954, and their love story was one of deep commitment and companionship that lasted for nearly seven decades. She was pre-deceased by Richard only this past year. Their love story serves as an inspiration to all who knew them, reminding us of the enduring power of love and commitment.
Theresa was the loving mother of Richard Flynn, Robert Flynn, Thomas Flynn, Lori Koblanski and John Flynn; cherished grandmother of William Flynn, Krystal Mammano, Kelly Cook, Brittany Flynn, David Hahn, Meaghen Flynn, Brendan Hahn, Jared Flynn, Caitlin Rojas, Tyler Flynn and Riley Flynn and the adoring great-grandmother of 11.
